Grab your morning beverage and join us to learn more about five bird species! This month, we’ll be discussing gulls. We’ll be joined by Elliot Nelson, Michigan Sea Grant Educator. He’ll be focusing on gulls that have been spotted in Michigan, or who call Michigan home.
Species of focus:
· Herring Gull (common year-round resident)
· Ring-billed Gull (common year-round resident)
· Bonaparte’s Gull (migrant)
· Great Black-backed Gull (winter resident, small number of breeders)
· Glaucous Gull (winter resident)
There is no fee for this online program but registration is required to receive a secure link to the zoom meeting. Your hosts are educators: Lisa Duke and Misty Klotz from Kellogg Biological Station and Kellogg Bird Sanctuary.
