ATTENTION: To prevent the spread of COVID-19, here are our new access procedures.
Visitors can now purchase admission, corn for the waterfowl, and other souvenirs through our walk-up window in the Resource Center. The Auditorium restrooms are now open to the public. All other buildings are closed.
Visitors are required to bring a mask and wear them in indoor spaces or where 6 feet of social distancing cannot be maintained outdoors.
The grounds are open from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday to hike our trails, offering space to maintain the CDC recommended six foot social distancing. Grounds are closed Monday and Tuesday.
This change in our hours allows staff dedicated time focused on bird care projects like new raptor perches, deep cleanings, and bird health checks. Our number one priority is providing the best quality of life for the birds that call the Sanctuary home, while providing a safe environment for our visitors.
