October in the Midwest is the perfect time to brush up on your waterfowl ID skills. The ducks are beginning to grow in numbers and the diversity seen on lakes, rivers and field puddles offers great opportunities for honing your skills. Join Josh & Kara Haas and the Kellogg Bird Sanctuary for a virtual workshop focused on improving your waterfowl identification skills. This workshop will introduce the basics of bird identification while focusing on duck species you will see coming through the Midwest both in Spring and Fall. Students will receive formal instruction, have ample opportunity for engagement with Josh & Kara via the Zoom session and we’ll practice together via live video stream of waterfowl on Wintergreen Lake.
Cost: $30 members and $40 non-members
Register today for your spot and to receive the Zoom link. Maximum of 20 participants.
