Are you interested in learning more about what feathered friends live in our area? Sanctuary Manager, Lisa Duke will guide you in observing birds in the wild and identify them using a field guidebook or a mobile app. This is a great opportunity for individuals looking to start a new hobby or refine a longtime love of bird watching. We will spend some time indoors learning skills and then take what you just learned outside to practice identification. Dress for the weather and borrow binoculars and a field guide from the Sanctuary, or bring your own.
A take-home informational packet and light refreshment will be provided. Alternate Weather Date: January 25, 2020
Cost: $30 Members, $40 Non-members
Registration required by January 15, 2020
Minimum 10 and Maximum 30 participants, adults or youth 14+
