What to expect:
Join wildlife veterinarian and photographer Carl Palazzolo for a fun and engaging look at one of Michigan’s most iconic birds—the bald eagle!
This presentation will cover fascinating facts about bald eagle behavior. You’ll see stunning photographs and learn how wildlife veterinarians help care for and protect these amazing birds.
Don’t miss this fantastic opportunity to expand your knowledge about these majestic birds as we celebrate their Michigan comeback and support the bald eagles living within the Richland and Gull Lake community.
About the Speaker:
Dr. Carl Palazzolo graduated from the Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1978 and has spent more than 47 years caring for animals—from family pets to injured wildlife—in Michigan and California.
He is also a passionate wildlife photographer who has traveled to all seven continents to capture images of amazing animals, including orangutans, snow leopards, mountain gorillas, golden eagles, and rhinoceroses. Through his work, he loves helping people of all ages learn more about wildlife and how we can protect the animals that share our planet.
Dr. Palazzolo is currently working on a book featuring Michigan’s bald eagles, with proceeds supporting the Michigan Wildlife Medical Volunteer Team.
