On Saturday, June 15, join KBS naturalists and others to explore and document the diversity of life, or biodiversity, of the Kellogg Bird Sanctuary during our second annual KBS BioBlitz!
A BioBlitz is an event that focuses on finding and identifying as many species as possible in a specific area over a short period of time. Choose a field team that piques your interest, including bees, birds, butterflies, aquatic macroinvertebrates, trees, prairie plants, and more, and learn how to use iNaturalist app to record your observations and add valuable baseline data to the KBS conservation efforts.
Anyone who wants to improve their naturalist and identification knowledge and or skills; including families, community groups, and nature enthusiasts are welcome!
