What to expect
Grab your morning beverage and join us to learn more about birding and bird species! Each month, we highlight a bird-related topic or profile birds that you can find in our southwest Michigan backyards, woods and waters during this time of year.
There is no fee for this online program but registration is required to receive a secure link to the zoom meeting. Your host is Misty Klotz from Kellogg Biological Station and the Kellogg Bird Sanctuary. Zoom in and participate by sharing your recent bird sightings and asking questions!
Species focus by month
February: Saving Songbirds — Marissa Jardine from the Bird Center of Michigan will join us to talk about saving songbirds. Marissa will talk about common causes of the intake of injured birds, including window collisions, being caught by cats, and nest destruction.
