Join the Kellogg Bird Sanctuary and Robin Waterman to explore evolutionary biology. Come learn about the process of pollination, the anatomy of flowers, and how evolution can connect the two. Robin will describe how she asks the question, “In what ways do pollinators impact the evolution of flower shape?”, and how scientists like her study evolutionary adaptations.
Exploring with Scientists is a FREE program, but registration is required.
After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar.
Exploring with Scientists is an online series that connects upper elementary and middle school students with graduate students conducting ecological research at the Kellogg Biological Station. Each of the six programs will focus on a certain type of animal or insect and touch on how scientists collect data in the field. Participants will be able to submit questions related to natural history, research and science careers.
