Learning how to keep a nature journal of your observations can help deepen your connection to Nature journal example by Laurie Murrayart, science, and place.

Join our Natural Journaling Zoom series, where each session will begin with an introduction on the ecology of native plants and landscapes given by a Kellogg Biological Station scientist. Participants will spend the remainder of each class learning to document their observations of nature using techniques in colored pencils from a local artist.

02/17/2022: Introduction to nature journaling
02/24/2022: Landscape and ecosystem ecology
03/03/2022: Community ecology
03/10/2022: Species ecology

Requirements:

  • Must have access to the internet and provide a unique email address for each registrant at registration. 
  • Must know how to use a web browser (ex: Chrome, Safari, Internet Explorer) and how to send and receive email.
  • You will receive an email with login information at noon on the day the program online materials become available. 

Dates: Thursdays, Feb. 17, 24 and March 3, 10
Time: 6-7:30 p.m.
Early Registration: Dec. 1, 2021 to Feb. 1, 2022: Member/$55, Non-member/$65
Normal Registration: Feb. 2-13, 2022: Member/$60, Non-member/$70
