Join us for interactive celebrations of birding throughout the camp week with staff from Kellogg Bird Sanctuary and MSU Tollgate Farm. Redtailed hawk at the Sanctuary

You’ll have opportunities to try your hand at bird identification, meet a raptor, explore the farm birds of Tollgate, investigate habitats, bird calls and songs, bird journaling, and hands-on birding projects at home.

Become an ornithologist and study birds and their amazing feats as you become a birder in your own backyard and neighborhood.

This summer, Kellogg Biological Station and the Kellogg Bird Sanctuary has banded together with MSU Tollgate Farm to offer a virtual week full of the exploration of wild and domestic birds through interactive, hands-on science learning.

Monday, June 22, 1 p.m. – Bird Identification with KBS
Tuesday, June 23, 1 p.m. – Meet a Raptor
Wednesday, June 24, 1 p.m. – All About Eggs, Embryology, and a Chicken Parade
Thursday, June 25, 1 p.m. – Habitat Challenge
Friday, June 26, 1 p.m. – Winged Wonders Reflection and Showcase

This program, geared for students ages 10 to 14, is FREE but registration is required by June 21, 2020.
