Why should wildflowers have all the fun? Join former KBSer and current Botanist with MSU’s Michigan Natural Features Inventory, Tyler Bassett Ph.D, in this Zoom class covering sedge identification.
Sedges are found in a wide variety of habitats on all continents except Antarctica, but even experienced field biologists often struggle with identification.
Bassett will give you the opportunity to look at the details to distinguish key morphological traits for sedge species found in southern Michigan.
