General Admission Rates

Sanctuary memberships are also available. Membership covers one-year admission to the Sanctuary, 10% off items from the Sanctuary’s Resource Center, reduced rates for Sanctuary programs and events, and a subscription to our electronic newsletter.

Hours of Operation

 Resource Center Hours:

• 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday to Sunday
• Weekend hours will depend on weather and volunteer availability.

Grounds are available to visitors during the hours of:

• 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesdays to Sundays
• Closed Mondays and Tuesdays

Winter Operation:

Most winter days will be self-service admission.  Please bring cash for our green metal honesty box. 

Grounds will be closed for inclement weather if Gull Lake Community Schools are closed for the day. 

All of the Sanctuary grounds will be closed for the following holidays:  Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and the following Friday, Christmas Eve through New Year’s Day. 

Winter hours are in effect from Thanksgiving to the first weekend of March. Extended summer hours are in effect March to Thanksgiving.
