What to expect:

Join us for a Migration Celebration, an outdoor event to celebrate and explore our migrating waterfowl and the lake and wetland ecosystem they depend on. Enjoy family-centered activities, crafts, educational presentations, and more.

Free admission all day! Activities occur 1 to 4 pm.

Events and Activities:

• Live birds of prey demonstrations
• Scheduled talks on how to support bird migration
• Children’s games and craft activities
• Free donuts and cider
• Expert sessions on waterfowl identification along Wintergreen Lake
• Aquatic macroinvertebrate exploration station

Times for Scheduled Events:

• Live birds of prey demonstration-  1:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m., and 3:30 p.m. (all ages)

• Time: Event activities run from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
• Audience: Families
• Cost: Free admission all day (Sanctuary hours are 9 a.m.- 5 p.m.)
• Registration: No registration needed
